hi! welcome to my digital fashion designing portfolio (ෆᵔ ᵕ ᵔෆ)♡

I am a 17 year old who loves to sew and create. I began my interest in sewing the summer before my sophomore year in high school when I traveled to Taiwan with my grandparents. I attended a sewing class with my grandma where I learned to sew a teddy bear and some bucket hats. When I went back to my hometown, the first thing I did was attempt to fabricate my first dress. I purchased some blue silk fabric for $15 and got started from there. I felt a sense of liberty as I was able to construct a project solely from my imagination with just my hands, a piece of fabric, and some old lace curtains I found in a closet. That summer truly transformed my life as I found something that resonated with my creativity and passion for creating something entirely new from essentially nothing, while implementing my personal style and fashion.

I’ve also attended fashion shows that support a program called My Refuge House, a non-profit organization that restores survivors of sexual exploitation and abuse. My passion in fashion aligned with something very influential and I hope to continue to compound my personal interests into a broader topic to make a change.
